We traveled 14 hours north to my home territory, Millbrook Horse Trials this summer with my young mare Audacious Comet. She’s always been a very good traveler, but this trip had stressed her a little more then normal.
Addie started going off her feed the second day at the horse trials, which is far from normal for her. She competes at the training level, so her calorie intact was not being met especially with the demanding work we had ahead of us. I had walked down to the Emerald Valley tent and spoke with the representatives about adding something to her feed to hopefully encourage her to eat. They were very generous and helpful with giving me samples to see what we could get in her. They were amazing as we had to try a few different things, we then hit the target with the SpookyMash. Addie was dragging us to her feed bucket to get as much as she could. We then discussed how much I needed to feed her daily so she could get the nutrients and calories needed for the weekend. We now have a large bag of SpookyMash for all away competitions. Thank you guys for everything you did that weekend, I’ve been talking to all the boarders and everyone around regarding this since Millbrook! It was incredible and the customer service was great!
